As per the recent survey, 79,7500 children (younger than 18 years) were reported missing in one year, resulting in an average 2,185 children being reported missing each day worldwide. And in India, since 2013 it has increased by about 75% - 80%. Since 2013, as many as 29,663 children (younger than 18 years) have gone missing in the Indian capital Delhi, and Delhi police have failed to trace 19,832 out of those children. Madhya Pradesh is on top of the list in the crime against children and women. According to the reports, there were 2,49,383 children got abducted in last 16 years. Out of these children, 23,563 children were from MP. Reports of SCRB says, that there were 448 cases of child abduction were filed in the year 2015 in Bhopal only, resulting in more than one child abduction a day.
